Morris Library Sculpture Commission

I'm currently working toward completing a sculpture commission for the Morris Library in Newark, DE. This piece is a suspended wood sculpture inspired by mathematics and is dedicated to Professor Robert M. Stark Ph. D. It will be installed in the library's atrium and can be viewed by walking underneath or from the second and third story levels. This work is made of twenty-three ribbon forms that are around eight feet long each. These ribbon forms emerge out of the concrete wall entwining and interacting with each other in space. Below is the model completed as a finalist in this project.
