interlace paintings
These works are inspired by a sculptural installation at the mezzanine gallery, titled interlace. Here Kevin draws inspiration from the series of lines and silhouettes created by the sculptures. Using acrylic on maple plywood he maps out a series of lines with tape and paints them in spontaneously to build a rhythm of blues to move the viewer's eye throughout the panel.
