KEVIN BIELICKI

     These works explore nature’s ability to adapt to the constraints of human existence. Here Kevin combines forms of wood found in nature—vines, roots, and branches—with industrial materials such as concrete, steel, fiberglass, and epoxy resin. The resulting sculptures, like Rings (2011), are meant to “mark time” and capture “the three-dimensionality of space.”
